We are seeing an uptick in confirmed COVID-19 cases as the week goes on.
The Wisconsin Department of Health is reporting 35-hundred new COVID-19 cases over the last day. Wisconsin now has over 440-thousand confirmed coronavirus cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There were 54 additional deaths confirmed today bringing the death toll in Wisconsin to 4,122.
Around the state, some regulations are shifting. A newly issued emergency order eases restrictions on indoor gatherings in Dane County. The new order will also allow gyms to resume group exercise classes.
The order goes into effect tomorrow and will allow gatherings of up to ten people indoors and 25 people outdoors. There are no changes for restaurants, which must maintain a 25-percent capacity limit and bars are still prohibited from having indoor seating.
