A winter weather advisory is in effect for several southern Wisconsin communities including Madison.
The National Weather Service says the advisory is in effect through 6:00-p.m. this evening. The counties affected are Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Rock, Dane, Jefferson, Crawford and Dodge. The advisory says roads will be slushy and slick and visibility will be limited.
As many as seven inches of snow are expected in communities along Highway 151 including Madison.
