The Northern Lights were visible in Eau Claire last night.
The National Weather Service Space Weather Prediction Center says the lights could be visible for the next few nights. A geomagnetic storm from outer space is clashing with Earth’s atmosphere causing shafts of colored light to be visible in the night sky across the Midwest. The center says the best time to see the lights is between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
