The Wisconsin Department of Health says they are over 41-hundred positive COVID-19 cases reported today.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases to over 418-thousand. There were 68 new deaths confirmed in the state over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Wisconsin residents killed by the coronavirus to three-thousand-806.
On a national level, the nation’s top infectious disease expert says the road ahead will be hard, but there’s also hope.
Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke virtually after being introduced as the chief medical adviser to President-elect Joe Biden on the coronavirus. Fauci said science must lead the charge. He added that constant communication is also needed. He said he looks forward to advising Biden when he becomes President.
