President Donald Trump is making good on his promise to challenge Wisconsin’s vote total.
The president yesterday asked a judge to toss out over 200 thousand votes in Milwaukee and Dane counties. The president’s lawyers say the Wisconsin Elections Commission denied them an opportunity to formally challenge last month’s election results and recount. The president’s beef continues to be with mail-in, absentee, and indefinitely confined votes in Milwaukee and Madison.
As expected, Wisconsin’s governor has zero tolerance for President Trump’s lawsuit challenging the state’s election results.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday said the president’s lawsuit is an ‘assault on democracy’ and says the president wants to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters. Evers says the president is wrong to challenge the vote count and recount. He accuses President Trump of focusing on technical violations in just two of Wisconsin’s 72 counties.
