Eau Claire Police made an arrest after a stabbing on Thanksgiving morning.
It was a little after 1 in the morning when Officers responded to 641 Franklin Street in Eau Claire, where in the backyard there were two people, one covered in blood and screaming for them to help a man lying on the ground with a stab wound to the chest.
After details from those on the scene, 51 year old Kelly Weiberg was ordered from the house and arrested. He and the victim had been in a fight earlier and in response to being punched, Weiberg stabbed the other individual. Charges were filed and Weiberg is currently being held in the Eau Claire County jail.
