Mayo Clinic Eau Claire is moving some COVID-19 patients into an ambulance garage as cases surge across the Midwest.
The hospital filled four-beds in the garage in mid-November when they were first installed, but they haven’t been used since. A spokesperson for the hospital says the environment isn’t ideal, but it’s a comfortable and clean temporary solution, until more beds become available.
