The teenager charged with killing two people during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin this summer over the police shooting of Jacob Blake says he doesn’t regret having a gun that night. Speaking to the Washington Post by phone, Kyle Rittenhouse said he felt he had to protect himself or he would have died.
The 17-year-old also revealed that he bought the gun using stimulus and unemployment money after losing his part-time job at the start of the pandemic. Rittenhouse is facing homicide charges. He’s being held on two-million-dollars bail.
