Eau Claire County courts are now closed through the end of the year into the next.
Judge Michael Schumacher announced the emergency order Friday afternoon saying all in-person court appearances are canceled through January 15th, 2021. Schumacher says all appearances will be rescheduled as phone or video conferences for now. City administrative buildings in Eau Claire are open again today after closing for an employee furlough day last Friday.
