Francesca Hong is the first Asian American to serve in the Wisconsin State Legislature.
Hong won the 76th Assembly District, defeating Republican Patrick Hull, 88-percent to 12-percent. She will be taking the Assembly seat held by former state Rep. Chris Taylor. Hong is a daughter of Chinese immigrants, a mother, community organizer and service industry worker.
