Hospitals across Wisconsin are reporting a jump in the number of people in their beds with the coronavirus.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported that just over two thousand people are hospitalized with the virus. Of them, 396 are in the ICU. But while the hospitalization numbers are high, it appears that hospitals are handling the spike. DHS says just four people are being treated at the state’s overflow hospital at the state fairgrounds in West Allis.
