After shattering the one-day record of COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the state has seen lower case numbers on Sunday and today.
There were over seven-thousand new cases on Saturday, but officials reported fewer than five-thousand cases Sunday and today. Despite that data, a record of nearly 19-hundred patients are currently hospitalized for the coronavirus statewide, including 400 in intensive care.
