UPDATE
On November 1, 2020 at approximately 10:26pm, the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of County Road HH and County Road O in the Town of Lincoln for a one vehicle crash.
A male occupant, Christopher L. Brott 03/26/1994, of Chippewa Falls, was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. A female occupant, Samantha R. Prekker 07/25/1996, of Rice Lake, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a fiery late-night crash.
The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office says a car with two people inside failed to stop at an intersection and hit an embankment. The car caught fire and the people were trapped inside. The sheriff’s office said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
