The Fairchild Police Department is hosting an informational Community Meeting regarding placement of two SORT offenders that will be residing in the Fairchild area on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:30 PM at the Fairchild Fire Department.
The meeting is to hear about Ch980 housing requirements, offender supervision and to hear questions and concerns from the community so that all involved can better understand each other. Representatives from the WI Department of Corrections and the WI Department of Health Services as well as other parties have been invited to attend.
The meeting will be a mix of virtual and in person. It will be structured so that information can be shared and voices heard. Questions will be submitted via note cards at the meeting to the presenters. Questions can also be submitted ahead of time at police@fairchildpolice.us.
