Eau Claire County leaders are punting on the proposed health ordinance as well.
The county board last night decided to send the ordinance, which would make it easier for the city-county health department to close businesses, to a task force for some study. The city of Eau Claire made a similar decision last week. There is no word when the county’s task force will be created, or on a deadline for a decision.
