It seems someone opened the door for an early visit from Jack Frost.
Well, if it’s going to snow in mid-October, at least we set a record and have a story to tell, right?
October 20th, 2020 is now the snowiest October day in the history of the city of Eau Claire. Yesterday’s storm dumped six-point-nine inches of snow in Eau Claire. That is far more than the old record for October 20th, which was just two inches. And is more than the previous record for snowiest October day, which was five inches from back in 1925.
On the upside, temperatures are expected to warm-up over the next few days, though there is a chance for more snow on Sunday.
