An overflow hospital at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds is opening this week.
Coronavirus cases in the state continue to grow and the 530-bed facility has been on standby since April. Governor Tony Evers activated the use of the facility last week after the number of hospitalizations tripled in the state. Officials say Wisconsin National Guard troops will act as nurses when patients begin arriving on Wednesday.
