More people are registered to vote in Wisconsin this year.
The state’s Election Commission on Monday said voter registration is up by about 80 thousand people. That means there are more than three-and-a-half million people registered to vote in November. But while the numbers are up overall, the Election Commission says voter registration is down in Milwaukee. The numbers show there are 20 thousand fewer registrations in Milwaukee than in 2016. There are, however, many more registrations in Brown, Dane, and Waukesha counties.
