A major blood and plasma provider to over two dozen hospitals in the state is asking for donors during this time of crisis.
The coronavirus is depleting supplies especially in the Appleton and Green Bay areas. The Community Blood Center says one-in-seven people entering a hospital will need a blood transfusion and demand has doubled in the last two weeks for convalescent plasma. The Community Blood Center has information online about donating.
