The FBI is now offering a ten-thousand-dollar reward for information regarding the shooting at a Milwaukee funeral home Wednesday afternoon.
Seven people were injured in the shooting outside the serenity Funeral Home near 42nd and Fond du Lac. Police say the shooting was a result of an ongoing feud between two separate parties. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Milwaukee Police or the Milwaukee Crime Stoppers.
And in the wake of recent violence in the city, Milwaukee Police are still investigating eight shootings in less than 12 hours across the city that left two people dead and 14 others injured Wednesday. The shootings this week are part of a growing trend of violence over the first nine months of the year. Between January 1st and September 30th, there have been 535 non-fatal shootings, up nearly 70-percent over the same time last year.
Mayor Tom Barrett is now calling on the state to intervene with more police and community resources to help combat the recent violence.
