Wisconsinites have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights this week.
Thanks to a heavy geomagnetic storm hitting the Earth’s atmosphere late last week, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings appear to be the most favorable time to see the phenomena from parts of the Badger State. Peak time for aurora borealis viewing is between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Forecasters say the further north you are in the state, the better your odds of catching a glimpse.
