The Wisconsin Department of Health is reporting more than 22-hundred new COVID-19 cases as of Sunday’s update from Milwaukee. That makes four straight days of more than two-thousand new cases being reported. Saturday, the state reported a single-day record number of cases, with 28-hundred-17. To date, 12-hundred-81 patients in Wisconsin have died coronavirus-related deaths since early March.
Here closer to our area, Eau Claire County has 47 new COVID-19 cases. That’s according to the latest information from health officials. This brings the total number of positive cases to one-thousand-887 since the pandemic began. Meanwhile, Chippewa County has 24 new cases, and Dunn County is reporting 29 new cases.
