The Marshfield Clinic is stepping up to provide patients and their families with a place to stay while undergoing cancer treatment.
Before COVID-19, the hope lodge was run by the American Cancer Society in Marshfield and provided no-cost lodging while they were undergoing treatments at the Marshfield Medical Center. However, the pandemic forced the lodge to close.
The Marshfield Medical Center has renovated St. Joseph’s nun’s house that had been used as hospice homes. The Cattails Cottage has reopened and is available to take patients.
