Protestors don’t want the Eau Claire County Board of Health to police their healthcare decisions.
That’s what nearly 100 protestors were saying outside Eau Claire City Hall downtown Monday night. Eau Claire City-County Health Director Lieske Giese says the proposed changes to an existing ordinance don’t give health officials more authority. The City Council and county Board of Supervisors will vote on the ordinance in October.
