Governor Tony Evers asks for Department of Workforce Development head, Caleb Frostman’s resignation.
Governor Evers said yesterday afternoon that Frostman’s resignation is effective immediately. The Governor says “significant delays” in getting unemployment benefits to those who have applied is what led to the decision to let Frostman go. The Deputy Secretary of the Department of Corrections, Amy Pechacek will take the helm at Workforce Development until a permanent director is named.
