One of Wisconsin’s largest police groups says it is open to body cameras for officers, as long as there’s support.
The Wisconsin Professional Police Association last week unveiled its Blueprint For Change that spells out the reforms that police officers can accept. The WPPA’s Jim Palmer says when it comes to body cameras there are questions about paying for them, storing the video, and how and when cameras must be used. Governor Evers has made police body cameras one of the pieces of his police reform package at the Capitol in Madison.
