Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire is among those airports receiving an Airport Safety and Infrastructure Grant through the FAA.
Over a-billion-dollars in federal funding was announced this week for airports around the country including Chippewa Valley Regional. It receives nearly two-million-dollars to acquire snow removal equipment. Five-point-seven-million-dollars will be used at Trux Field to build a taxiway and Central Wisconsin Airport will receive over 16-million-dollars to reconstruct a taxiway and runway.
