It’s tough for mom and dad to go back to work full time when their kids are learning from home.
A new UW-Oshkosh survey says more than 40 percent of business owners in the state say local schools who plan to teach online this year will keep workers from returning to their jobs. UW-Oshkosh research director Jeffrey Sachse says childcare issues are always a problem, but says they are usually a much smaller problem than this year.
The research suggested that most businesses in the state are not sure what the next few months will mean for their workers and operations.
