Plans for a large solar panel farm in Pierce County are advancing after the Land Management Committee approved a conditional use permit for the project.
Ranger Power officials say securing the permit is an important milestone for their Western Mustang Solar project and its continued development and eventual construction. The group plans on installing their 74-megawatt solar farm on 479 acres of land in northeast Pierce County.
