Wisconsin’s Attorney General is going on the record against any changes at the Post Office before Election Day.
AG Josh Kaul yesterday filed a lawsuit to prevent the Post Office from making cuts that he says could jeopardize absentee voting in the state. Kaul also said proposed Post Office cuts could make it tougher for people in smaller communities in Wisconsin to get everything from mail to prescriptions. The Postmaster General yesterday announced he will not order any new cuts to services until after the election, to avoid even the appearance of impropriety.
