Fewer people tested positive in Wisconsin’s latest coronavirus count, but the state’s daily positive-test-rate went up anyway.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported 685 new positive tests and just over five thousand negative tests. The number of positive tests is down from what the state saw at the end of last week, but the number of negative tests is way down. That drove Wisconsin’s daily positive-test-rate to over 11 percent yesterday.
The number of people in the hospital with the virus is steady. DHS says 329 people are in the hospital with the virus, 94 of them are in the ICU.
