Babbette Shines On

Babbette Shines On

A local sunflower field is open to the public.

Visitors can walk through Babbette’s Seeds of Hope sunflower fields, take photos, and even pick a sunflower at no cost.  Typically, concessions, games, and mazes are open, but fewer activities were offered this year because of the pandemic.  According to the Eau Claire Community Foundation website, Babette was a beloved local who passed away from cancer in 2006.

Her family founded Babbette’s Seeds of Hope to benefit other families facing illness.  Donations are welcomed. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE SEEDS OF HOPE.
