One of two girls convicted of the attempted murder of a classmate loses her appeal for a new trial.
A Wisconsin appeals court upheld the conviction of Morgan Geyser today who was 12-years-old in 2014 when she and Anissa Weier lured their friend Payton Leutner into the woods in Waukesha and stabbed her 19 times. Leutner was left for dead, but managed to survive. The motive for the attack was to win the approval of a fictional horror character named Slender Man.
