There is only one number that jumps-out in Wisconsin’s latest coronavirus count.
The state’s Department of Health Services’ latest report shows an uptick in the number of people hospitalized because of the virus. DHS yesterday said 414 people are in the hospital, and 119 of them are in the ICU. On Sunday, DHS said about 350 people were hospitalized.
The state’s other coronavirus numbers are relatively steady. DHS said there were 507 positive tests yesterday, and over seven thousand negative tests. The weekly positive-test-rate is steady at six percent.
