For six days throughout the rest of the year, Eau Claire county facilities will close.
The county says the days are mandatory furlough without pay. County facilities like the aging and disabilities resource center, housing authority, and veterans service commission will close August 18th and 21st, September 18th, October 16th, November 13th, and December 18th.
