A weekend argument at a local bar that ended with a stabbing has landed an Eau Claire man in jail.
Police arrested 63-year-old Dennis Smith not long after the stabbing. Yesterday, prosecutors filed battery and weapons charges against him. Eau Claire Police say Smith was arguing with a man, they left the bar, then they say Smith stabbed the man three times in the neck, shoulder, and chest. He’s being held on ten thousand-dollars cash bond.
