CURTAIN RAISES ON BILL TO HELP ENTERTAINMENT VENUES

A new bill could help businesses that promote, produce or manage live concerts and events.

Last week, Representatives Ron Kind of Wisconsin and Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania introduced the Entertainment New Credit Opportunity for Economic and Sustainability Act or ENCORES Act. If passed, event venues would get a tax credit for half of all refunded tickets for canceled events during the pandemic. You can fill out a form to support the bill AND GET MORE INFORMATION HERE.
