Eau Claire is a big step closer to treating vaping just like smoking.
City-county health director Lieske Giese is hoping the city council will adopt a vaping ban for all public places. She says the city already bans smoking. She says banning vaping could help cut down on the number of people who pick-up the habit. Eau Claire’s city council could give the idea a final approval by the end of next month.
