It’s the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Saturday marked 30-years since former President George H.W. Bush signed it into law. In Milwaukee over the weekend, activist and author, Dr. Temple Grandin spoke about watching the university where she taught become more accessible with sign language interpreters and ramps for wheelchair accessibility. The federal act bans discrimination against anyone with disabilities.
