NOAH’S ARK WATER PARK MANAGER IN HOT WATER

NOAH’S ARK WATER PARK MANAGER IN HOT WATER

The general manager of Noah’s Ark Water Park in Wisconsin Dells is out of a job over his criticism of health officials.

Park VP Bill Lentz confirmed to WMTV yesterday that Mark Whitfield was let go.  Whitfield sent an email on Monday to Sauk County health officials which said no one should be ordered to wear a mask to go to a water park.  He said there have been no COVID-19 attributed deaths in the county since March.

He said a mask mandate would cause the county’s tourism industry to collapse.  Lentz says those comments do not reflect the policy of Noah’s Ark.
