Wisconsin is one of nine states asking the federal government to withhold pandemic relief funds from private schools.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice announced yesterday they will join in the motion for injunction against the Department of Education for what they believe is a misallocation of CARES Act funding. According to the D-O-J, the rule set by the department would allow private schools to request funding, leaving millions-of-dollars less money for public schools.
The states, and some cities across the country have joined in the motion for injunction.
