We now have a little more information and picture of what going back to school might look like for the some of the schools in our area. But, there is still room for a red pen or an eraser as the conversation continues.
After a long meeting, the city’s school board debated their back-to-school plan til early this morning before agreeing to a two-day school week for kids in kindergarten as well as kids in third grade through high school in the Eau Claire area School District.
Half of the kids will go to school on Monday and Tuesday, the other half will go to school on Thursday and Friday. First and second graders will go to school four days a week. Everyone will learn from home on Wednesday, which would be set aside as a cleaning day.
School is set to start in Eau Claire on September 1st and we will keep you posted as there are more details in the days and weeks ahead.
