It looks doubtful that Eau Claire County employees will receive a salary increase this year because of budget shortfalls blamed on the coronavirus.
This week, the county’s COVID-19 task force approved a resolution calling for an immediate suspension of salary increases for all county employees. Another resolution it approved would close county facilities one day a month for the next six months. The resolutions will be considered by the Administration Committee July 7th.
