Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson will serve as interim president of the University of Wisconsin System.
Thompson says no other institution in the state can do more to improve lives, communities and Wisconsin’s economy. He says he will be the biggest advocate and the toughest evaluator of the UW System. Thompson will serve as interim president for at least the next year.
