An Eau Claire man lost his life in a Motorcycle crash.
It was on Wednesday, June 17th just before 6 in the evening when the Buffalo County Communications Center received a call of a motorcycle crash near the intersection of CTH D and CTH KK in the Town of Nelson.
The sole occupant of the motorcycle was reported to have a broken leg, shortly after emergency services arrived the driver collapsed and life saving measures were attempted. The operator of the cycle, 50 year old Gary Engen of Eau Claire, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigation of the crash indicated that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on CTH D and to negotiate a curve, causing the driver to lose control and roll several times.
