Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul says today’s Supreme Court ruling is a historic triumph for millions of LGBT Americans.
The nation’s high court ruled today that workplace or employment discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity is illegal. In a six-to-three decision the justices ruled LGBT people are protected by the 1964 Civil Rights Act from job discrimination which also gives them the right to sue for workplace bias.
