UW President Ray Cross said students will return for in-person classes at every UW campus this fall.
The University of Wisconsin System is getting back to business. The university over the weekend said it will open its 13 campuses to students for the fall semester. The plan is to have in-person classes and have students living on campus. Just what that will look like will depend on which campus. And here in our area, we know what that will be for UW Eau Claire.
Students at UW Eau Claire are going to have to wear masks, get their temperatures checked, and input their data into a tracking app when they return to school this fall.
The university on Friday released its back-to-school safety plan. UW Eau Claire will be giving each student a mask, and they will be required to wear it while in common areas on campus.
