A series of crashes along northbound I-39 in Columbia County leaves four people dead and seven others injured.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says it started shortly before 4:00 this morning with a crash involving two semis near Lodi. Shortly after 5:00 another truck slammed into the first crash scene, injuring a Columbia County highway worker and two state troopers. All are expected to survive.
A third crash shortly before 7 a.m. resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.
