TROOPS ENDING MISSION

TROOPS ENDING MISSION

Wisconsin troops will no longer be in the streets of Madison and Milwaukee.

Governor Tony Evers yesterday ended the guard’s mission to help local police departments deal with the protests that rocked both cities for about two weeks. The governor thanked the troops, and said he is encouraged that the last few nights off protests have seen very little violence.

Nearly 15 hundred troops were mobilized across the state over the past two weeks.
