On Sunday, June 07, a bit after noon, the Buffalo County Communications Center received a 911 call for a motorcycle accident on Highway 88 near County Road T. Dispatch was advised there were two bikes and three occupants involved, and that the bikes were approximately 30 yards off the roadway down an embankment.
Upon arrival, emergency personal located the three occupants in the field approximately 30 yards from the roadway. All were thrown from the motorcycles.
The two from the 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle were taken to a hospital for none life threatening injuries. The occupant from the 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was air lifted with more serious injuries.
The initial investigation indicates the motorcycles were traveling north bound on Highway 88 just past County Road T when they failed to negotiate the corner, crossing the southbound lane and down the embankment. Speed is believed to be a factor.
